We are thrilled to have Matthew Blake as our June speaker.

Matthew Blake is a business trainer who formerly owned a Sandler Sales Training franchise. He has been dedicated to the success of his business clients and thoroughly enjoyed running a sales training center. Prior to owning his Sandler Sales Training franchise, Matthew acquired, scaled up, and sold a business called National Document Services. Recently, he authored his book, “A Patient’s Point of View: Abundance of Hidden Health That Expands Your Capacity to Heal.”, based on his true story of challenging adversity from serious health conditions with what he calls “hidden abundance” that is within each of us. 

Matthew is an entrepreneur, husband, father, and son. His life catapulted him from a first-time author to a life of unpredictability and resolution of chronic kidney disease with a kidney transplant, followed by complete upheaval from other sudden health conditions. Matthew shares his distinctive experience of cultivating and maintaining resilience using unwavering determination to triumphantly navigate through obstacles to regain, restore, and open new opportunities of physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Matthew’s passion is to help others realize their potential for success and abundance and to be a voice of hope in the world. What Matthew shares through his speaking benefits anyone because the principles he teaches apply to people both personally and professionally. 

On a personal level, Matthew enjoys meeting people, engaging in physical exercise and is a big college football fan who enjoys watching college football on a Saturday afternoon. 

The SCBA holds its monthly luncheon on the 3rd Wednesday of every month at Noon at Liberatore's Ristorante, 6300 Georgetown Blvd., Eldersburg, MD The luncheon is $20 for members and $25 for guests. Pre-registration is required; a $3 service fee will be assessed at the door for those not previously registered.
